Removed users stay out

Face blocklist
Remove a creator once, and a later verification with the same face is caught, whatever email, phone number or document they use.
Device blocklist
Block the device a removed user verified from, so a new account from that device is caught too.
Duplicate detection
See when the same person verifies for several creator or buyer accounts, without waiting for a removal.
What happens to the data
- Visitors: nothing kept that is not needed
- For an age gate, photos and video can be deleted right after the decision. You keep the result and a verification ID, not a selfie.
- Creators: a record you can return to
- Identity verification (KYC) returns the data from the document by API, for your own records. To keep removed creators out, photos, video and verification data are kept for 30 days, and a face template and a device fingerprint hash for 12 months.
- Hosted in the EU, encrypted
- Google Cloud EU regions by default. TLS 1.2 or higher for all traffic, AES-256 at rest. No data is ever sold.

Which check should visitors do?
Facial age estimation: a selfie with a liveness check. Most adults pass in one step. If the face is inconclusive, for example when the visitor looks close to the age limit, the check falls back to an ID document at no extra cost.
Does ProofAge make us compliant?
ProofAge gives you a real age check and a record of each verification, which helps you meet age-verification rules. Whether your setup meets a specific law is for you and your legal advisers to decide.
Do visitors leave our site?
No. The flow carries your brand and runs inside your site or app, with no redirect to a third-party service.
Does ProofAge see our content?
No. ProofAge only receives what the verification itself collects: the selfie, the ID document when one is asked for, and data about the device.
Can we verify everyone who appears in a video?
Yes. Create a verification for each person and send them the link. Each result arrives by signed webhook, so you can keep it with the upload.
Is our blocklist shared with other sites?
No. By default your blocklist covers only your own account. A person you ban is not blocked on other services that use ProofAge.
